# Welcome, Super Connector!

Hi, I'm Shyam, CEO of Boomerang.

You're here because someone on a revenue team trusts your network enough to ask you to be a Super Connector for them. I'm writing this because Super Connectors before you have asked some hard, fair questions about how we handle their data. I want to answer those up front.

### Why we exist

The core belief at Boomerang is that high-quality warm introductions are one of the most under-used growth levers in enterprise business. A well-timed, well-framed intro can help someone drive real business value, win a strategic partnership, or change a career trajectory.

You've seen both sides of this yourself: the careful, well-timed ask that unlocked something big, and the half-baked one that landed in your inbox and got buried. We're trying to change that.A good intro is three things: right timing, a compelling pitch, and a clear ask. Most asks fall short on at least one of those, which is why even people with great networks find them tedious.

That's where Rudy comes in. Rudy is our AI agent. He works with the team that nominated you to put together intro requests with full context: a clear why, and a clear why-now. By the time one reaches you, all you have to do is scan it, decide if you're comfortable making it happen, and send.

### What we're asking from you

A 3 to 5 minute onboarding (this experience), and then: review requests when they come in. That's it. The team does the prospecting and framing. Your job is just to review and approve.

### How your data is handled

This is the part I want to be most direct about, because it's the part you (rightly) care most about.\

**What we'll never do:**

* We never send email on your behalf. Ever. When you accept a request, we prepare an editable draft (first-person or forwardable), and you send it from your own inbox.
* You can opt to hide your name from any intro path the team sees (you'll see the option in your onboarding journey). They can't reach out to you outside Boomerang or use your relationship information until you approve a request.

**What you share, and don't:**

* Your network data is your property. Period. You decide how much to share. Upload your LinkedIn connections, or just pick from a short list of recommendations.
* We only process the people from your network who are relevant to this company.

**What you control, anytime:**

* You can remove your network data with one click. The team stops seeing paths through you immediately, and your data is deleted from our systems within 30 days.
* You can edit your preferences from settings whenever you want.

**We're SOC 2 Type 2 certified and GDPR/CCPA compliant.** That's the floor, not the ceiling.

### What we've built to make this easy

* Each request arrives as a curated summary: how we believe you know the person, the context behind the ask, and the specific request. You can decide in under a minute. If anything's unclear, ask the team for more.
* Saying yes or no automatically updates your relationship strength with that person, so you won't be asked again for someone you don't really know.
* Rudy learns your preferences over time, and you can adjust them from settings whenever.
* When your introductions lead to meetings or revenue events, we'll let you know, so you can see the difference you're making.
* One-click sharing if you'd like a peer of yours to experience this too. 🙂
